Programme 2011

This programmemay be subject to change. Please note that ALL meetings should take place at our regular venue of Highbury Convent unless otherwise stated, however the location may have to change later in 2011 - so keep an eye on this site as the pages are regularly revised. (The revision date is given at the foot of each individual page).

5th January: Epiphany Carol Service

2nd February: A talk by Angela Wood and AudioVisual Reflection by John Green who are both CAFOD Hallam team members.

2nd March: Burghwallis. A talk by James Kelly, Manager of St Anne's Rest Home, Burghwallis Hall

9th March: Ash Wednesday - Lenten Lunch after 12.00 Noon Mass at St Francis of Assisi. Suggested donation £3 and Bring & Buy in aid of our charity.

6th April: A talk from a member of the Sylvia Wright Trust

4th May : A talk by Fr Calum Kelly, Immingham Chaplain for the Apostleship Of The Sea

1st June:  Lorraine Healey  - St Vincent's Furniture Store

6th July: Retreat Day with the Rosminian Fathers at Ratcliffe On The Wreake, Leicestershire. The coach leaves St Francis of Assisi Church at 8.00 am prompt. Only those who have reserved places can attend as attendance is restricted.

4th August: Mass at 12.00 noon, Buffet Lunch & Benediction at Bamford

7th September: Survive-Miva a talk by Theresa Codd at Highbury (our last meeting at Highbury but watch Stop Press)

5th October: Discussion / Debate - a chance to air your views and bring suggestions for next year - at St Francis of Assisi

2nd November: All Souls - at St Francis of Assisi with Fr Peter Hurley

7th December: Historic Churches at St Francis of Assisi with Philip Jones
